TL494 is a pulse width modulation (PWM) control circuit that is commonly used in power electronics applications such as switch-mode power supplies, DC-DC converters, and inverters.

The TL494 contains two error amplifiers, a voltage reference, an oscillator, a dead-time control (DTC) comparator, a pulse-steering flip-flop, and an output control circuit. It can operate over a wide input voltage range and is capable of driving high-current MOSFETs and IGBTs.
